Create the Heroku app

We will need to create the application on Heroku. You can do this manually or via the toolbelt app

Creation via the toolbelt

heroku create

Note: The web address and application name will print to screen, so take note of it.

Creation via the web console

You can create an application from your web console and use that app by following the instructions below.

Using an already created app.

If for some reason you have to use an existing app, you can do the following. Replacing <app_name> with you heroku applicaiton name

heroku git:remote -a <app_name>
